MRCD School
Studies by different agencies reveal that 10% of the total population of the world is affected by various disabilities like mental retardation, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, deaf mutism etc. To cater to the needs of such people, our country is doing a lot. Still we have to go far ahead. Parents of such children and the society itself are not at all that much aware of upholding them. If we toil ahead a little more with the modern technology and facilities, all of them can be rehabilitated to the main stream of the society. Realizing this fact, a few service oriented and selfless person of Payyanur started “Malabar Rehabilitation centre for Handicapped “(MRCH), Payyanur just a coaching centre for 5 to 6 physically challenged children. We were forced to shift from one rented building to a better one almost every year owing to ever increasing application from parents of such children. We were inspired as well alarmed by the magnitude of the challenge we had taken up. The struggle continues unabated even now, but we are proud of the marked progress, we could achieve within 20 years.

Your Support
Generous regular monthly/yearly contribution from philanthropists and Corporate Companies to supplement its operational expenditure. We also seek your support to expand its present activities, such as physiotherapy, speech therapy and vocational training. Our efforts stem from an urgent need - to render a much-needed rehabilitation service to the children of special needs who are neglected from the community and the society at large. This is the driving force behind all that we do, in whatever little way we can.
